Availability:

Salary:

• $40,000 +

 

Qualifications:

• Masters degree from an accredited university in the human services field (psychology or social work, child care – early childhood education or other related field.  Trained in and/or certified in parenting education.

• 2 years experience conducting individual and/or family counseling along with parenting education and support.

Job Description:

• The Coach will provide aid, support and comfort to parents who are in distress and are experiencing conflict regarding their roles and responsibility to effectively parent their child.

• Coaches will advise parents individually or groups regarding setting on parenting techniques, behavior managements, psychological or emotional problems, substance abuse problems, or family situation.  Counseling shall be provided for adults and children.

• The Coach caters to parents with children of all ages, including adult children.  The primary goal of parenting support services is to improve the relationship between parents and their children and teach parents how to deal with the daily responsibilities of maintaining a home and family in positive ways.

Work Hours:

• Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

• Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00pm
