Children's Day Treatment Program

PIRC Institute is a division of the Parent’s Information & Resource Center, Inc. (PIRC).

The Institute serves as PIRC’s Therapeutic School Programs for Children with Behavioral, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

  • The therapeutic school programs seek to provide children with individual plans for improving academic performance and decreasing behaviors that are interfering with functioning in the school or home. These programs are available in our Pompano location and we partner with Precious Kidz Childcare  and Rayfield Family Literacy Center, Hollywood to offer these services for children off-site.

  • After School Care: Homework assistance and group counseling (behavioral / anger management and social skills training) are provided.

  • Summer School Educational Services: During the summer, children receives tutorial assistance in reading and math. Teaching staff review the child’s report card and Individual Educational Plan (IEP) to formulate the remedial plan.

  • Summer Camp Care: The children participates in various recreational activities such as art, craft, swimming, dancing and field trips.
